I've been seriously considering switching from deadjournal to livejournal. It seems to be where all the cool kids are hanging out these days...
Anyway, Algebra II is going well. We took our chapter II test today and I got an 86%. As long as I maintain my solid B average, I'll be prefectly happy. I just can't stand domain and range...GR.
It seems I've found a good friend through this miserable torchure...Her name's Brianna and she goes to Kilbourne. Everyone is actually very nice...And I'm the only Olentangy kid in my class. But, much to my surprise, hardly any kids go to Thomas (where the summer school takes place) -- Most go to Dublin schools.
Tomorrow, I'll do ALL my homework and do some more AP reading. Then, hopefully, I'll go work out.

Whoa! Anyway, the ice show last night was BEYOND AWESOME! My mommy, daddy, Jessica and Marie were there cheering me on and I am very thankful for that. When all the skaters came out for the last part, I screamed "I love you, Jessica!" LOL! It was great! My performance was pretty good -- Kristine and I decided to actually take a risk and try our hardest spins. She did a layback and I did a flying camel. I'm not sure how she did -- or myself for that matter.
Victoria skated to "Where do I begin" from Love Story! I was soooooo happy about that because I picked some of the music that was in the ice show and that was one of my most favorite songs! My dad now likes Mark because he skated to the Enterprise theme. LOL -- Figures.
Jenny Kirk WAS GGGGGGGGREAT! She skated to a Chicago medley -- could get get any better? Ahh! It was all just so perfect and I am SO doing it next year!

Marie and I are getting ready to go to Barnes and Nobles to meet Joe there. YAY! My graduate friend...Actully I had several of them. Oh well. They shall be missed. NOOOOOOW...On to business. I need t get a work permit...so I can work at Barnes and Nobles. Then I need to get my temps...so then I can get my licence, THEN I CAN DRIVE! WOOT WOOT! I plan on doing all of the initial steps to get what I want over the summer. Ladies and gentlemen, this shall be my most productive summer EVER!

Today I decided that I needed to find a new place to store my skates. The bag I've been using is so old, it was my very first skating bag. Let me refresh your memory: I've been skating since I was 6. Yeah, that's one old bag. Anyway, I used this other really small one I had in my closet and fit everything I might need in there.
But when I went to take my old bag out to the garbage cans, I felt this pang of attachment. Why am I attached to a dilapidated old skating bag? It was the weirdest feeling EVER. I still glance outside at it...I'm so tempted to keep it.

So, today began normal enough. I went to Writer's Workshop--we inevitably did nothing and went on to Geometry, knowing I would find out whether I was exempt from the final or not. It was nearly a nail-biting experience for me because I was most certain I wouldn't've gotten exempt. As Mr. Hesse read off the names on the list, my anxiousness grew and grew until he read my name! I literally yelled (yes, yelled) YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Anyway, the rest of my day was rather usual, with the exception of memorizing my massive amounts of lines by tomorrow. Should be great fun. Splendid.

Today has been horrible and it's not even over yet. Why can't this day end now? My disk was malfunctioning and would not open. MY WHOLE LEAD STORY WAS ON THAT! ALL 400 WORDS! Gr. And I have a test to take after school. I am so tense right now...If I don't take some time for me soon, I'm going to have a mental breakdown...I can't handle all this stress.
D.A. is in the room and I can't even tell him about the Olson twins, I'm so annoyed and stressed. (Besides, he's been trying to reconcile with me before he graduates...Today he said I looked like Jennifer Gardner. Hm...)
I'm so tired...I want to sleep. Why is it at the end of the school year, the teachers always pile on the homework? Is this fair? I think not.
Well, I better study for English before German class begins.

All right now. Because I am incouragably lazy, I am copying and pasting what Jessica wrote in HER journal, here. This is what all happened over the weekend...partly.
"My weekend went pretty good actually. Ana and I watched "Thirteen" once again lol. We looked up one of the songs online and found it and we had it stuck in our heads all day lol. We also had "the itsy-bitsy spider dropped acid at the park" and then at bowling this morning Jon(::thinks to self'damn he's cute'::) added another part to the end of that: "up came the fire and blew his ass apart" lol so as you can see it was a weird morning. My team is tied for 1st place with two other teams and next week will be when we find out who wins overall. Ana was going to stay the night over here or I was going to stay the night over at her house, but we decided on just going with a spur-of-the-moment type thing.
O.k., so I like Jon alot and I don't know what to do about it because, I made an effort to try and do something about it and that can be verified by Ana. Today he was being really flirty, like more than normal. And speaking of flirting, Ana and Gabe were flirting, it was soo cute hehe they even kissed ::awwww::. I think that Jon does like me and either 1-he is afraid to admit it because we are such good friends or 2-he just isn't sure what will happen because bowling is over soon and I will be moving in a few months. I don't know which one or if he even likes me like that because of the incessant mixed signals(he flirts but he won't call, etc...). Ok, I am done because I will get sad because I miss Ana and the more I think about moving, the more I miss her and Jon constantly.

Well, it's official. BOTH of my legs now hurt. Kristen was in her normal bitchy mood, but I didn't let that anger me in the slightest. I carried my happy disposition proudly and even began dancing with my friends on the ice. (I had my Fefe Dobson with me) I love the song "Rock it till you drop it." It's a great song...
So...taking the OGT's next week on Tuesday and Thursday. I get to miss WW, Geo, and Bio...ALSO I get to miss Geo (again), Bio (again), and English! YAY! Mrs. Farry gave us an incentive, though. Because she is "testing" this on only the sophomores and this years freshman HAVE to take it to graduate. So, that's THEIR incentive. If I score a 75% or higher on the math bit, I am completely exempt from my Geo exam! And if I score a 85% or higher on the English bit, I am exempt from my English exam...Is that sweet or what?!
Kimmy was absent today. :-( Luckily, Mark DID NOT hang around me in Acting II; HOWEVER, he DID sing kareoke...YES. I said k-a-r-e-o-k-e. He sang "Summer Lovin'" from Grease. One word: scary!
I plan on writing my history report THIS weekend, since it is due next Friday...Better get a move on. :-)

I think focusing on the brutality and death is a distortion of what his life actually means to most Christians. They make it sound like he was the only person to have this happen. In fact, this was common Roman practice of the day for all those they perceived as criminals. As for all the controversy over the anti-Semitic theme, according to some interpretations of the Bible, the Jewish people did reject Jesus, so in fact can be seen as responsible for his death. However, holding Jewish people today accountable for something that happened thousands of years ago makes no more sense than holding present-day Germans accountable for the actions of Hitler.
